Honourable Papaliitele Niko Lee Hang
Minister of Works Transport and Infrastructure, Honourable Papaliitele Niko Lee is the Member of Parliament for the Urban East Constituency, and this is his fourth term in Parliament. He was the Minister for the Ministry of Finance in his second term and was the Chairman of the Public Accounts Select Committee in the previous Parliamentary term.
Prior to his political career, Papaliitele was the Deputy CEO for the Samoa Life Assurance Corporation and was also Samoa’s Public Trustee.
He was educated at Marist Brothers Mulivai and St Joseph’s College, Lotopa before he continued on for tertiary studies at the University of New England, Australia and the University of Waikato in New Zealand where he graduated with a Master of Management Studies with Distinction.
Honourable Papaliitele is married to Doris Ruth Lee Hang and they have four children.
